There will be a potluck wake for Palmer resident Ethel Lucille Anderson, 90, at 830 Eckert St. in Palmer today beginning at 3 p.m.
Ethel died May 14, 2010, at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center. She was born Oct. 31, 1919, in Michigan and came to Alaska in 1940. She married Delbert Anderson in 1941 and they ran Deb’s Pharmacy and the lunch counter.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Duane and James.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Delbert Anderson of Palmer; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sally and Robert Fletcher and Susan and Jerry Monnin of Palmer; two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Robert and Mary Anderson of Palmer; daughter-in-law Bonnie Anderson; 21 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
