Frances Covell, 83, died on April 17, 2007, at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Palmer due to natural causes.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Wasilla, 2347 E. Bogard Rd..
Mrs. Covell was born on March 23, 1924, in New Jersey. In 1944, she moved to Alaska, living in Anchorage before moving out to Wasilla.
Some hobbies she enjoyed were playing bingo and spending time with her family.
Her family stated, “She was always full of energy and love. She could always make you smile no matter what was going on! She will be always in our hearts and memories. We all love you.”
Mrs. Covell is survived by her daughter, Janice Keller of Wasilla; son, Ronald Covell of Wasilla; daughter and son-in-law, Lynne and Rich Richard of Wisconsin; brother-in-law Pat of California; grandson, Errol L. Keller Sr. of Houston; granddaughter, Michelle L. Keller of Houston; granddaughter, Tina M. and Donald Rose of Houston; granddaughter; Michelle Richard; grandson, David Richard of Wisconsin; granddaughter, Diana Henry of Wisconsin; grandson, Timmy Richard of Michigan; great granddaughter, Alicia Keller of Houston; great grandson, Errol L. Keller Jr. of Houston; great granddaughter, Angel Henry of Wisconsin; great grandson, Jadin Henry of Wisconsin; great grandson, Aaron Keller of Anchorage; great granddaughter, Jenny and Matt Arnold of Anchorage; great-great grandson Mikey George of Anchorage and great-great grandson, Kodie George of Anchorage.
She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father and siblings.

Arrangements were with Valley Funeral Home and Crematory in Wasilla.
John M. Grumney
Wasilla resident John M. Grumney, 49, was born Dec. 31, 1957, and died April 15, 2007.
He is survived by his parents, Ray and Virginia Grumney; seven siblings; his life partner, Deborah Shisler; and his adopted family of three children and four grandchildren.
John moved to Alaska from Ohio in April 2006. He worked for Laidlaw Transit as a bus monitor.
His family said, “John was inspired by the children he transported to school and home. He was an avid gardener and landscaper. He loved all things in nature.”
