Longtime Chugiak resident George Sherman Ante, Sr., 77, died Dec. 7, 2007, of natural causes at his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Dec. 13 at St Michael Catholic Church in Palmer. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Wasilla. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church, with a rosary service at 10:30 a.m.

Arrangements were handled by the Cremation Society of Alaska.
