Glenna Elnora Weeks was born on Feb. 24, 1943 in Nyssa, Malheur County, Oregon. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 16, 2017 at her home in Palmer, Alaska.
Glenna is the daughter of Herbert Sparks and Donna Boyenger. She was the oldest of 9 siblings, and her sisters were; Sherry Douglas, June Bradley, Louise Gratiot, Rexann Tate. Her brothers were; Richard Sparks, Herb Sparks, Daniel Sparks and Vonley Boyenger. Glenna was a loving mother to 4 children; Donna Walker, Tamera Weeks, Vonda Sanders and Richard Sanders. Glenna’s one and only son-in-law Bill Walker. Glenna was a wonderful grandmother to 8 grandchildren; Robert Walker, Rhonda Walker, Jesse Weeks, Stacie Winsor and her husband Joe, Katie Weeks-Walker, Jonathan Weeks-Walker, Loren Benedict and Ryan Benedict. Glenna had 7 great-grandchildren; Charles Walker, Jasmine Walker, Christopher Conatser, Kristin Winsor, Kaylin Winsor, Ayden Benedict and Eli Benedict.
Glenna will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends. A viewing will be held Friday, Feb. 24, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 3 p.m. at Kehl’s Legacy Funeral Home, 209 South Alaska Street in Palmer.
Glenna’s family asks that any flowers or condolences be sent to the Funeral home prior to 1 p.m. the day of the viewing and service.
