Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Gloria Ann Felthauser, 79, passed away Sept. 29, 2013.
She was born on March 13, 1934, in Alhambra, Calif. Gloria married Donald Felthauser on July 20, 1950, in Olympia, Wash. Donald and Gloria were married 63 wonderful years.
Gloria’s passion was nursing. She worked in Olympia, Wash., before moving up to Alaska. She worked at Hope Cottage and Providence Hospital in Anchorage, then at the Palmer Pioneer Nursing Home.
Gloria was a loving wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband, Donald of Palmer; daughters, Nadine and Victor of New Jersey, Eileen and Ben of Arizona and Daphane of Anchor Point; sons, Paul and RC of Palmer, Patrick and Candy of Palmer and James and Julie of England; brother, William; sisters, Cheryl and Laura; grandchildren, Rita, Sarah, Jenni, Kasia, Janice, Daniel, Anthony, Tina, James, Jonathan, Linda, Suzanne, Rebecca, David, Laura May, Angelyn, Shahar, Donnie, Adam, Amy and Ashlee; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Justin, Brandon, Noemi, Precious, Victor, Isabella, Genisis-Gloria, Logan, Erik, Jack, Kaitlyn, Grace, Anthony, Alexandra, Danielle, Kayla, Kyra, Angelica, Devon, Hailey, Jessie, Lillian, Jonathan, Jaeden, Jemuel, Josiah, Julian, Jericho, Josette, Anthony, Hythen, Alex, Vlad, Kaley, Destiny, Melissa, Vanessa, Jonathan, Dylan and Daniel; and seven great-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
