Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Wasilla resident Grace Mary Crist, 86, died Dec. 25, 2012, at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Palmer.
Reverends Timothy and Leisa Carrick will officiate at a celebration of Grace’s life at 4 p.m., Jan. 4 at the United Protestant Church, 713 South Denali St., Palmer.
Grace was born Sept. 15, 1926, to Edwin G.C and Florence Matilda (Boerger) Rausch in Marion, Ohio. She moved to Wasilla in 1999 and was a beloved housewife and mother. Grace was a member of the United Protestant Presbyterian Church in Palmer.
Friends and family will remember Grace for her faith, helpfulness and her love for all. Grace will be greatly missed.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert Crist; and parents, Edwin and Florence Rausch.
Surviving is her son, Wayne Crist of Palmer.
