Haidee Marie Padgett, 61, died May 13, 2022, peacefully at her home in Wasilla, Alaska.
She was born August 30, 1960, in Reno, Nevada to Horace and Martha Hershberger. Her family moved to Alaska where she met and married Michael Wayne Padgett, Sr. eventually moving to Wasilla where they raised their sons Michael and Christopher Padgett.
Haidee was a devoted wife and mother. She was a welcome and constant presence at the Christian school where her boys attended until they graduated. She volunteered in the lunchroom and attended every sport function, often volunteering to plan and organize and even transport students to away games. She worked as a receptionist at a medical clinic and volunteered at the Wasilla Food bank as well as her church and other organizations.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years Michael Wayne Padgett, Sr. and is survived by her sons, Michael and Christopher Padgett; siblings, Hauni Hart, Hetta Tarran and Geoff Hershberger, as well as 7 nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Janssen Funeral Homes 6901 E Blue Lupine Dr. Palmer, Alaska on June 25th, 2022, at 1:00pm.
