Harold Dean Pigott, 79, died April 4, 2012, at his home in Wasilla.
He was born March 11, 1933, in Loyal, Wisc.
He was in the U.S. Army. He moved to Wasilla in 1981. He retired in 1992 from the Local 341. His hobbies included hunting, camping, yard work, making things and spending time with his grandchildren, Tyler and Devin.
Harold was very active and enjoyed life to the fullest. He got up every morning whistling or singing. He believed in making the best of each day. He believed in being honest and straightforward with everyone. Harold was very much loved and will be missed greatly by friends and family. Rest in peace.
Surviving are his wife, Diana Pigott; daughter, Keri Mitchell; sons, Harold Pigott Jr., Ronald Robertson and R.J. Todd Robertson; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations can be made to the Alaska Heart and Lung Association.
Legacy Kehl’s Palmer Chapel in Palmer cared for the family.
