Harriet June Hewitt, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in Wasilla, Alaska, at the age of 86, surrounded by her three daughters. She was born in McPherson, Kansas, and spent her formative years in California, where she met her husband of 33 years.

June will be remembered as a remarkably kind-hearted individual who touched the lives of many with her gentle and giving nature. Her vibrant personality, characterized by a unique blend of classiness and sassiness, illuminated every room she entered. June was a beacon of happiness, known for her unwavering dedication and resilience in the face of any challenge.

Above all else, June cherished her role as a mother and grandmother, prioritizing her children and family with boundless love. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.

June is survived by her four children: Cheryl & Chuck Sonnentag, Donna Knowles, Jeanne Bettencourt, and Brian & Michele Hewitt. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored dearly.

In addition to her immediate family, June will be deeply missed by her extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Dean Hewitt, her parents, John Harry Crowell & Velva Jean Crowell, and her brothers Donald Crowell & Thomas Crowell, as well as her nephew Johnny Crowell.

Though June's physical presence may be gone, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal love of her family and the countless memories she leaves behind.
