Howard entered the kingdom of heaven too soon after losing his battle with cancer.

The memorial will be at Summit Worship Center/Wasilla Assembly on March 26, 2022 at 1pm. 125 W. Riley Avenue, Wasilla AK 99687.

Howard was born April 30, 1959 to Reverend Paul and Mrs. Helen Riley in Wasilla, Alaska. He was the 3rd child with two older sisters, Paula and Wanda who absolutely loved him. Howard always had a smile on his face. Why? Because he loved the Lord, his family and everyone he met. He was impressive with his musical talent as well as his humorous knack for storytelling.

After he graduated from Wasilla High school, Howard went to UAA to become a mechanic. Soon after he moved on to Pepsi Cola where he quickly advanced to the top of his company. Howard was even honored by the President of Pepsi for being one of the top salesmen in the Nation. After 21 years with Pepsi, Howard moved on to various jobs including North Slope, Parts manager, and a hunting/fishing guide. Howard could do anything.

Howard met Sue Beech in junior high. They married right after trade school in 1978. After a nine-year honeymoon they welcomed love of their lives Kipp Edward Riley and Sean Paul Riley. Howard and Sue poured their lives into their children that they even followed them to Spokane to help them in their musical aspirations.

Sue predeceased Howard 5 years ago with cancer and it was her prayer that he would find someone else to share his life with and he met Anita Genova. Howard and Anita were married November 3, 2018. Although their time together was short, it was rich and full.

Howard’s greatest gift was his love for his Lord and how he demonstrated and poured that love into everyone he met. And everyone loved Howard.

Howard is survived by his wife Anita Genova; Kipp Riley his son and his wife Renee’-Beth; Sean Riley his 2nd son and his wife Kaye-Leigh; Grandchildren, Charlie Sue, Oliver Jeffrey, Owen Edward, Bowie Berton, Remington Howard and Harper Craig Riley; Helen Riley, his mother; Paula Campbell, his sister and her husband David; Wanda McGraw, his sister and her husband Tim; and a host of other family members and friends. Paul Riley, Howard’s father preceded him in death in 2015.
