Howard R. Nugent, III, 45, passed away unexpectedly Oct. 23, 2017, at his home in Arizona. Howard was born Nov. 30, 1971, to Howard R. Nugent II and Annette Gerlach Nugent in Anchorage, Alaska. After graduating from Wasilla High School in 1990, he moved to Arizona where he attended college, met his wife and started his family. After spending many years in Arizona, Howard and his family returned to Alaska in 2006. He started a new career in the mortgage industry and after several successful years turned to commercial banking. He recently moved back to Arizona to enjoy sunny winters.
He is survived by his wife Catherine (Cathy) Joy Nugent, daughters Catrina Joy Nugent and Adriana Lee Nugent, parents Howard R. Nugent II and Annette Gerlach Nugent, brothers Todd Nugent and Chad (Jenny) Nugent, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests charitable donations to the Wasilla Public Library or a charity of your choice.
