I am not hard over on the Pebble mine issue either way. Is the Bristol Bay fishery an important asset? Of course it is. Do we need responsible development of natural resources? Without a doubt. The Pebble mine project has been a hot topic now for quite a few years. It has not been resolved and has not been developed. There is of course a chance that this project may go forward, or it may not. If this project did go forward there is a slim possibility that some eco disaster could occur that might adversely impact the Bristol Bay fishery. This is all speculation contingent upon what may be developed and what could conceivably happen. This issue is not in my opinion a reason to not re-elect Senator Dan Sullivan. If this Senate seat is lost it will greatly exacerbate the possibility of some very real consequences. Confiscatory gun control, “Green New Deal” and decimation of our gas & oil energy industry to name a few. How manmy folks in Alaska have purchased homes, vehicles, recreation equipment, raised families and taken vacations with money they made while employed by Atlantic Richfield, B.P., Conoco Phillips or Exxon? I am not comfortable with maybe this or maybe that and remote possibilities. I am going with the guarantee. I have and will continue to support Senator Dan Sullivan. The alternative is too gross to consider.
