Inest Gasca, 76, passed away Nov. 23, 2014, at her assisted living home in Palmer.
Inest was born on June 30, 1938, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to James and Inest Springs.
In her adult years, she moved to California and worked at Sunmaid Raisins for many years. Inest moved to Wasilla in 2001 to live with her son. She enjoyed gardening, collecting glass figurines, and bingo. She moved to Northern Comfort Assisted Living Home in 2008 due to her declining health.
Surviving are her sons, Jesse (Shannon) McIntyre, James (Tina) Velandria; daughters, Debbie Jo (Suquy) Velandria, and Mary (Charles) Washburn; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Valley Funeral Homes was in charge of cremation.
