Palmer resident Ivan Thor Jensen, 69, died unexpectedly on June 16, 2012, at his home.
Ivan was born Jan. 3, 1943, in Upham, N.D. He loved hunting, fishing and flying his airplane, which is why he moved to Alaska and settled in Palmer.
Ivan leaves his beloved sons, Jeffrey (Patricia) of Tampa Bay, Fla., and Jason of Upham; grandsons, Jordan, Isaiah, Aaron and Joshua, all of Tampa Bay; sisters, Janice (Herb) Lyson, Woodbury, Minn., Sonja (Russell) Erickstad of Webster, N.D., and Jeanette Bellmore of Bonners Ferry.
