Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

James’ family consisted of his parents John and Sandra Tulowetzke; grandfather, John Tulowetzke; four sisters – Trisha TenBroeck (husband Johnny Ryals), Brenda Fosse, Darlene Jones, and Angela Martin; two uncles - Donnie Yeatts and Charles Tulowetzke; one aunt – Kathy Miller; three nephews and three nieces; and girlfriend, Kathryn Stanley.
Proceeding in death were his father, James D. Lewis; grandparents, Trudy and Dave Lewis; Norman and Dorothy Yeatts; Barbara Cain; four uncles and six aunts; and nephew Brandon Ryals.
James served as a Gulf War veteran in U.S. Air Force, and was a Railroad Engineer in Montana.
James loved fishing, hunting, racing and anything that involved being outdoors.
James thought of Alaska as the “Big Boy” playground.
His family will intern him to Ft. Richardson National Cemetery, Oct. 24, 2017 at 1 p.m.
