James (Jim) Edwin Hamilton passed away on June 10, 2025, at Magnolia Manor in Wasilla, Alaska. Jim was born February 11, 1934, in Cherokee, Kansas. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Donna Hamilton. He relocated to Palmer Alaska to marry her on February 10, 1996. He is also survived by his children James R. Hamilton of Florida, Tim E. Hamilton of Oklahoma, and Jeanette Hamilton of Oklahoma; his stepchildren Kenneth Olson, Ronnie Olson, Timothy Olson, Tammy Parkhurst, and Brenda Collvins of Alaska and Cherie Reich of Wyoming, and his many grandchildren.
A man of deep spiritual conviction, Jim was a faithful servant of Jehovah God. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses July 13, 1975, and remained faithful to his death, firmly holding to the hope of the resurrection. A Memorial will be held at the Wasilla Kingdom Hall at 4:00 p.m. on July 13, 2025, located at 900 E. Northstar Circle, Wasilla, Alaska.
