Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Palmer resident James Thomas Teremi, 68, passed away at Mat-Su Regional Hospital with his wife Elena at his side. He had been battling cancer.
James was born on Feb. 1, 1941 in New Port, Ky. He served in the Air Force and has lived in the Valley for 25 years. After the military, James was employed with First Student for 25 years. His hobbies were cars and airplanes.
His family writes: “James was a very good husband and a wonderful friend.”
James is survived by his wife Elena; son James and his two daughters, Darlene and Kathy. Arrangements were entrusted to Kehl’s Palmer Mortuary.
