Jan Edward Faltin
It’s with sad hearts we announce that our brother, Jan Faltin passed away at 78 years of age on December 12, 2022 in Wasilla AK. He led a very full life. Born in Minnesota the family then moved to Venezuela for 9 years. Alaska was the next stop. Jan worked for a telecommunications company until he started his own business Globecom. After Globecom he spent 5 years in Spain than several years in Naples Florida before returning to Alaska. He was a unique person who was friends to many and will be missed.
He leaves behind his sisters, Pam Alcantar and Lindsey (Tim) McGhan; Wife, Debbie Faltin, deceased; sister-in-law, Peggy Groth and step children, Alex Strawn and Jennipher Jenner. He was an uncle to Daren Alcantra, Ryan and Corey McGhan and a great uncle to Conner, Kinley and Duncan McGhan.
Special people in Jan’s life were Carol Clay, Diana Seropian, Dick Larouche and John Fortier.
A celebration of life will be in the summer of 2023. Any donations should be to Saint Jude’s or the Wasilla meals on wheels.
