Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Janet Lynn Hill, 63, of Ward, Arkansas, died Monday, May 8, 2017. She was born February 1, 1954, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to the late Arthur Carl and Opal Ozelle Gardener Lee.
Mrs. Hill was a vital member of Ward United Methodist Church and owned and operated Key Systems Tax and Bookkeeping. She also owned and operated Tub N Tan in Wasilla, Alaska, for many years. She was compassionate and giving to a fault and she loved to cook for family gatherings. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Carl Lee.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her husband, Warren Hill; children, Kevin Hill, Kristen Sallison-Brazear (Matt) and Jessica Nolen, all of Ward; grandchildren, Edward, Alex, Justis, Faith, Jordan, Benjamin, Sophie and Jacob; great grandchild, Hayden; brother, Leroy Douglas Lee; in-laws, Shelly and Jerry Russell and Darla and Bill Wilson and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017, at 6 p.m. at Ward United Methodist Church with Reverend Carol Grace officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held 4-6 p.m. prior to the service.
