Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

37 years of age, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at her home in Amarillo, Texas. She passed peacefully in her sleep after a long illness.
Jasmine was born in Barrow, Alaska (The Top Of The World) on January 31, 1981. Her father, Dan Sherk, preceded her in death. She is survived by her mother, Rebecca Dooley, her sister, Karma Sherk, her brother in law, Dearl Gladden, her nephew, Logan Sherk, and her Aunt, Jean Grant-Dooley, plus many cousins, aunts, uncles and loving friends, including her best friend for over 19 years, Chris Berg.
Jasmine graduated from Palmer High School, and from Southern Oregon University.
Jasmine loved her dogs, Sammy and Lily. She loved holidays, especially Halloween. She loved reading, and was a passionate writer.
She will be loved and missed forever. May she be in peace.
A memorial will be held in Townsend TN July 3, 2019
