Wasilla resident Jason M. Hannah, 24, died April 17, 2008 at his home. A visitation was held Sunday, April 20, and a memorial service was held Monday, April 21.
Hannah was born Jan. 30, 1984 in Atwater, Calif. He became an Alaska resident in 1992. He graduated from high school and he became and electrician’s apprentice (W.E.C.A.). He worked at Rexmoore from 2002 to 2006 and Graybar Electric from 2006 until his death.
Hannah enjoyed photography and the outdoors.
“Jason loved his family dearly and had a huge caring heart,” his family wrote. “He had a wonderful sense of humor and was always smiling. He enjoyed sharing his photography with everyone. Jason thought that being an uncle was the best thing in the world and always loved to play and spend time with his nieces. He will be extremely missed and loved by everyone.”
He was preceded in death by his granddad Bill Hannah; and great-grandmother Zaida McClard.
He is survived by his mother and father Tara and Kirk Hannah of Wasilla; sister Kristy Williams of Wasilla; brother Nathan Hannah of Eagle River; nieces Jordyn Hannah and Makenzie Williams, both of Wasilla; grandparents George and Nancy Hill of Portland, Ore.; aunt and uncle Suzi and Jeff Hill of Oregon; uncles Bret Hill and John McCormack of Washington; grandmother Geneva Hannah of Wasilla; aunts and uncles Calo and Becky Taibi and Larry and Robin Folkner, all of California; and uncle Chad Hannah of California.
Arrangements are with Alaskan Heritage Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
