It is with great sadness that the family of Jason Kenneth Wilde is informing that he has passed away on Nov. 21, 2017 at the age of 37. A service will be held Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Wasilla Bible Church, 1651 W Nicola Avenue in Wasilla. Burial will follow in Eklutna Village Cemetery at 4 p.m. Jason was born Oct. 9, 1980, in Anchorage, Alaska to Robert and Eleanor Wilde.
Growing up, Jason loved sports, fishing, four wheeling, snow machining, spending quality time with family and friends. Jason enjoyed having his own business at onetime JW Garage doors. He was proud of having his Crane Certification and loved running heavy Equipment. He had a heart of gold, very compassionate and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone and everyone. He always had a smile on his face, light hearted, had a fun personality, a robust man that loved everyone including strangers. He was a Gentle Giant that always wanted to make new friends. He had big dreams and wanted to live life to the fullest. Family was always very important to Jason. His daughter, Amber was his pride and joy and he loved her dearly. He was always there to help his mom and dad whenever they needed him. Being the oldest of his siblings, Jason and his cousin Joshua became the closest of friends, and took on the role of looking out for the younger siblings and cousins, even as they became adults.
He is survived by his daughter Amber Rose Wilde, Siblings Caroline Wilde, Robert Wilde and Vanessa White. Grandma Laurel Bruckner and an extensive family that loved him dearly. He was so much to so many people. Forever and always he will be loved.
