Long time Wasilla resident, 43, passed away January 13, 2019, at Mat-Su Regional Hospital.

A celebration of life will be held at AM Vets Post 9, just off Fishhook Road in Wasilla on February 24, 2019, time to be determined.

Jason was born on January 3,1976 in Lakewood, CA. and his family moved to Alaska in 1979.

He married Anna "Lenore" Irizarry on June 4, 2001, in Wasilla.

His main occupation was a tire mechanic, he worked at most of the tire shops in Wasilla until he was diagnosed with MS and was unable to work anymore.

In his free time, he loved to fish and play pool. He also loved taking long drives and just relaxing with his wife. His children and grandson were the apple of his eye and he loved spending time with them.

Jason's wife wrote "Jason had a big heart of gold, would give you the shirt off his back, even if he didn't have one to give. He always tried to put a smile on everyone's face. He will be loved and missed by all that he has touched."

He is survived by his wife, Anna "Lenore" Irizarry, his daughter and son in law Valerie and Forest Reynolds, his son Jason T. Irizarry (J.T.), his grandson Hunter Reynolds, his brother John Cronin, his sisters Theresa Michel of California, Paulette McNab of Wasilla, and nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
