ent Jay Leonard Cutler, 57, passed away at home, surrounded by loved ones on October 11, 2014.
Celebration of Life is at 3 p.m., Oct. 18, 2014, at Wasilla Christian Church, 2201 South Knik-Goose Bay Road, Wasilla.
Jay was born on July 14, 1957, in Anchorage. Jay is a third generation Cement Mason. He worked on high-rise buildings and some of the homes his family lives in. His joys in life were rafting, gold mining, nature excursions, shooting, picture taking, and spending time with family.
Jay was devoted to his family and loved giving all he had to all the children of the family. He made sure that they were taken care of and their lives were full of fun, beauty, and joy. Jay was a very hard worker and one of the best in his trade. Jay took great pride in his work. The things jay loved most in life were his family and friends. Jay’s presence is deeply missed by all who loved him. Jay had a true appreciation for God and the beauty of nature all around him.
Survived by his daughter, Elisha Wendel; grandson, Davin Wendel; sister, Sondra Hayton; brothers, Donald, Kenneth, and Gerald Cutler; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his parents Orville and Barbara Cutler.
