Jayce (Jack) Vance, 60, entered into rest October 17, 2021. Born in Phoenix, Arizona, he was a resident of Wasilla before coming to live on Lazy Mountain with his girlfriend, best friend and partner, Jane Phillips.
A disabled Army veteran, he ran the road to the mailboxes in his 4-wheeler, meeting nearly everyone along the way. His hobbies were yard sales, cooking, and Bishops Attic.
He was always bringing home a surprise…food, beautiful clothing, our dogs Mayhem and Chihuahua Peanut and in 2020 he bought me a 2007 Jeep Wrangler.
A celebration of Life and potluck will be on Lazy Mountain, Sunday, November 21st at 2pm. Since I cannot give him the military funeral he deserved, we are having a mountain celebration. We are encouraging veterans to come.
From Palmer, go up to Clark Wolverine Rd. past the canyon. At McKenzie Rd, follow the signs. You are missed by many. Rest well sweetie.
