September 12, 1939 - September 28, 2025 Jene W. Mobley was born on September 12, 1939 in Wendell, Idaho, the son of Frank and Wilma Mobley. Jene passed peacefully in his Tucson, Arizona home on September 28, 2025. He grew up in Jerome, Idaho and later moved to Alaska. Jene loved his family. He loved the outdoors, hanging by a campfire, enjoying the hot sun, being on the water, camping, and snowmachining. He was a hunting enthusiast and traveled worldwide, where he often did humanitarian work. Jene had five children. He is preceded in death by his son, Marty, and survived by Rick, Terri, Matt, and Mark, 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at 4:30 p.m. on October 18 at the Palmer Elks Lodge, where Jene was a member for 54 years. In lieu of flowers, please bring a fond memory and a story to share.
