Jesse J. Edgerton, 60, passed away peacefully at home on August 27 from cancer. A celebration of life service will be held at the Palmer Moose Lodge on September 2, 2015 at 6 p.m. Jesse was born in Rochester, New York. He was raised on the Edgerton Parks Road in Palmer until 1967 when his parents moved to Vernal, Utah. He married his wife of 27 years, Kathleen, in 1988. They made their home in Palmer where Jesse worked for MTA as a seasonal equipment operator for the past 30 years. He also spent many winters on the North Slope. Jesse enjoyed sky diving, fishing, snow machining and spending time with friends and family.
Jesse is survived by his wife, Kathleen Edgerton of Palmer; brother, Judd (Gail) Edgerton of Palmer; mother, Janet Edgerton of Duncan, Arizona; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, sister- brother-in-laws and many friends. Jesse was preceded in death by his father, Jim Edgerton.
