Jessica’s story starts very much like it ended, in a hospital room surrounded by loved ones. On Feb. 10, 2018 Jessica Lorraine Russell, 36, passed peacefully into the night. Jessica was born at Providence Hospital Anchorage Alaska on Dec. 6, 1981 to Francesca and Michael Russell. When she was two years old her family moved from Anchorage to a log home they built in Palmer. She graduated from Palmer High School and continued on to become a beautician. Jessica grew up running barefoot and free. She loved all things outdoors and was always up for a new adventure which took her to shooting her first Caribou in Hicks Creek to caching her last king salmon out of Sheep Creek. She knew love and was loved. We will forever keep her in our hearts and prayers.
She is survived by her parents, her brother Edward, her sister Michelle, brother in law Ronnie and their children Kenny and Serenity, her brother-in-law Evan and his children Banyan and Rowan along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be laid to rest alongside her younger sister Samantha in a private ceremony in Palmer Alaska. Arrangement entrusted to Legacy Funeral Homes, Kehl's Palmer Chapel.
