Joan Elizabeth (Jo) Voorhis
87, of Palmer Alaska, passed away peacefully in her home on March 7, 2020 in the loving arms of her beloved husband Paul Voorhis.
Joan was born on November 23, 1932 in Concord, New Hampshire.
Joan is preceded in death by her parents Otis Gordon and Margret Bell Fall, siblings Gordon, Carolyn, Pauline, daughter Elizabeth Lee Nickerson and son in law Earl William Nickerson.
Joan is survived by her husband of 50 years Paul Eugene Voorhis, 2 sons and daughter in law: Richard John Mackey and wife Patrica Gail Mackey and William Eric Mackey, 9 grandchildren: Angela, Kendralee, Brenda, Heather, Isaac, Bridget, Rebecca, Roland and Eno, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held on March 15, 2020 at 3PM at the Alaskan Heritage Memorial Chapel 1015 South Check Street Wasilla Alaska.
