Wasilla resident, 84, passed away on November 13, 2019.Born May 30, 1935 in Regent, North Dakota, to Ralph Coffing and Margaret Novak Tabor. She is survived by her husband, Dana Grendell; sons, Mark Timken, his wife Karen; and Matt Timken; sisters, Beverly Mayo, Georgann Weer; grandchildren, Jeremy and Nathan Timken; great-grandchildren, Dionne and Bryce Timken.Jocelyn is beloved by her entire family; she showed great love and devotion to her family over her entire life as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. While starting out as a stay at home mom, Jocelyn grew interested in government work and spent a long and successful career with the State of Alaska until she retired.Jocelyn was a very faithful and devout Christian, especially in her later years. She prayed vigilantly for family and friends daily and always would bestow blessings on all she met. She would always strike up friendly conversations with people she casually met in stores, restaurants and on the street. She was a blessing to all of us and will be sorely missed.Memorial services will be announced at a later date.In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the charities of choice.
