Joe Richard Reese II, 33, of Wasilla passed away tragically March 22, 2013, at a residence in Palmer.
Joe was born Sept. 1, 1979, in Little Rock, Ark., where he later moved to California and had a son, Joe Richard Reese III.
In 2002, Joe moved to Alaska to spend time with his uncle Paul Mcgee before he passed away.
Joe had an amazing personality that could light up an entire room. He was always fun to be around, as he was typically the center of attention. Also, he was extremely family oriented. Family was No. 1 in Joe’s life; he was always there for the ones he loved.
Surviving are his brother, Jesse Earl of Wasilla; Juanita Earl of Little Rock, Ark.; uncle, Paul Mcgee; cousin, James Mcgee; and nieces and nephews, James Paul, Mary Jane, Jewel, Mickey Sue, Charles and Emanuel Mcgee of Big Lake.
Joe touched the lives of many people. If you were lucky enough to have known him, you had a true friend for life. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
A service is at 3:30 p.m., April 17 at the Valley Funeral Home in Wasilla.
