Wasilla resident John Beccera Lopez, 91, died Dec. 4, 2007, of natural causes at Creekside Assisted Living in Palmer. No services are planned.
Lopez was born March 27, 1916, in Colton, Calif. He completed the sixth grade of education. He had been a Wasilla resident since 1991, and had been employed by Lopez Construction. He was a Christian who enjoyed bowling, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Survivors are his son, Johnnie Lopez; daughter, Barbara Lopez; and son-in-law, Larry Eby, all of Alaska; daughter, Virginia Hernandez of Oregon; grandchildren, Gabriel of California, Joaquin and Cimarron of Hawaii, Frank Jr. and Diego of Oregon, and Andrew and Darrick of Alaska; and two great-grandchildren in Oregon.
Arrangements are with Alaskan Heritage Memorial Chapel and Crematory.
