John Edward Millard of Houston, Alaska: John was born Feb. 5, 1946. He passed away on Oct. 24, 2016. He served in the Army from March 22, 1966 to March 21, 1968 in Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his father, Loyal Dee Millard (Alpena, Michigan); mother, Edna A. Millard (Alpena, Michigan); brothers, Loney Millard (Alpena, Michigan), Gary Millard (Alpena, Michigan), Randy Millard (Alpena, Michigan); and sister, Patricia Boyk (Alpena, Michigan).
He is survived by sisters, Dixie Kornman (Houston, Alaska), and Brenda White (Dickson, Tennessee); and brother, Terry Millard (Ossineke, Michigan).
John’s hobbies were hunting, fishing, gardening, and making furniture in his shop. He will be missed by his long time friends, Phil Moe and Wally Niles.
