John Thomas Reynolds, 39, died Oct. 10, 2011, in Anchorage.
Private family services will be held in Wasilla. His ashes will be taken to Pendleton, Ore., where they will be scattered at a later date.
John was born Sept. 30, 1972, to William A. May and Elizabeth C. Reynolds in Prescott, Ariz. He moved to Anchorage in 1984, where he grew up and eventually became the owner of Onstep Welding and Fabrication. John enjoyed graphic arts and welding fabrication.
“John enjoyed life to the fullest. Welding was his passion and he was a talented artist. He will be greatly missed by family and friends,” wrote the family.
John is survived by his son, Justin T. Reynolds of Seattle, Wash.; mother, Elizabeth C. Reynolds of Wasilla; sisters, Bolynn Deiters of Phoenix, Ariz., and Gina Allen of San Antonio, Texas; brothers, Jason B. Reynolds of Seattle, Wash., Brad W. Reynolds of Wasilla and Cody E. Reynolds of Big Lake; 13 nieces and nephews; and one great nephew.
Arrangements were with Valley Funeral Home and Crematory.
