Jordan Vanaman-Williams died Nov. 29, 2007, at his home in Wasilla. He was 21.
Memorial services were held Dec. 5 in Canton, Texas, and Dec. 15 in Wasilla.
Vanaman-Williams was born June, 11 1986, in Canton, where he grew up. He was active in football, motorcycling and fishing. He moved to Alaska in 2004 and began working as a laborer and eventually a carpenter. Vanaman-Williams was a hard worker and enjoyed what he did.
He loved spending time with his friends and was eager to help out anyone who needed it. He could always put a smile on anyone’s face no matter the situation. There was never a dull moment when he was around.
Vanaman-Williams is survived by his mother and step-father, Vanessa and Tom Webb; his adopted father, Steven Williams; grandparents, Jim and Charnelle Vanaman; sisters, Jonica Williams and Jill Worley; uncle, Richard Vanaman; daughter, Brooklyn Rose, whom he loved with all his heart; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
