Joshua Peter Philbin passed away on the morning of April 3rd in his home in Taft, California at the age of 41. From his birth in December of 1976 in Petersburg, Alaska to his death on Tuesday, Josh was an inspiration to those who knew him. In his Junior year at Wasilla High School. Josh was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. A battle he won but later lead to a serious infection that ultimately left him a bilateral amputee. Although cancer created a permanent mark on his body and heart. He never let his health dictate his happiness. He was kind to a fault and was always there for everyone around him. Josh was the eldest sibling of four sisters and five younger brothers. He loved visiting his family and especially enjoyed being with his nieces and nephews. He was a avid computer enthusiast and spent much of his time playing online games with his friends. Joshua is preceded in death by his father, Bradford Philbin and his three brothers, Jason, Jeremiah, and Charles. He is survived by his mother, Joyce Lynne Philbin, his brothers, Jacob and Caleb, his sister, Meghan, Kallie, Katie and Nancy, and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family, Friends and others whose lives were touched by Josh are invited to celebrate his life on April 14, 2018 at 4 p.m the Palmer Moose Lodge.
