Joy Marie Childs, 53, passed away July 17, 2013, surrounded by friends and family in Wasilla.
No services are scheduled for Joy. Her ashes will be scattered at her cabin in the hills above Talkeetna.
Joy was born to Lell and Lee Childs on April 20, 1960, in Monrovia, Calif.
She moved to Alaska in 2007 and lived in the hills outside of Talkeetna. Joy loved working outdoors at her cabin and home in the hills.
Her favorite saying was: “Happy Happy Joy Joy.”
Arrangements cared for by Valley Funeral Home and Crematory.
