Joyce A. Witz, 80, Mosinee, WI, passed away at the House of the Dove, Marshfield, WI on Monday, October 3, 2022, after a battle with cancer.
Joyce was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a marvelous cook and loved to cook for family gatherings. She enjoyed bowling competitions, fishing and camping and always caught the most and largest fish. She loved to watch Packer’s football. She had a generous heart, loved her family, and will truly be missed by family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; children, Robert II (Regina) Witz, and Randall (Barbaraann) Witz; grandchildren, Kelsey Nelson, Robert Witz III, Haylea Weidinger and Cody Witz; great-grandchildren, Barrett Nelson, Charleigh Nelson, and Colton Weidinger; siblings, David Kowalski, Dennis Kowalski, Jeanette Meyer, Judy Grossbier, Jean Kloos and Joan Purkis. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Service will take place on October 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., at Our Saviors National Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Marion Talaga will officiate. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, all at the church. Burial will take place at the parish cemetery.
