Joyce Adams-Smith
Joyce Adams-Smith passed to a higher plane of existence at Mat-Su Regional on June 17, 2021, after battling Alzheimer’s. She was 79.
We trust Joyce was welcomed Home by her brother, Ken Quigley; sisters, Wanda Joliceour and Patricia Stewart; sister-in-law, Terry Smith; and daughter, LaVeta Faye Armstrong.
Joyce is survived by Doug Adams-Smith, loving husband of over 30 years; sister, Linda Kupers; daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and David Hawkesworth; and grandchildren, Stephan Skura, Sierra Skura, Scott Merritt and Angie Merritt.
Joyce was born June 2, 1942, in Klamath Falls, Oregon. She graduated from Anchorage High School in 1960. She enjoyed helping people, archaeology, writing, and country music.
A few memories were shared graveside, at Pioneer Cemetery, Saturday, June 26, before her noon committal.
A gathering took place at the Smith Farm following Joyce’s interment.
