Joyce Babin was born in New Orleans on March 20, 1927. She died on Monday, Jan, 22, 2018 in Wasilla, Alaska, surrounded by loved ones. She moved to Wasilla in 2015 to live with her son Jason and his family. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Hilda Termini; her son Bill Pruett; her brothers "Father Mario" Termini, Charles Termini, Frank Termini and Ray Termini; her sisters Hilda Edward, Margaret Thompson, Gloria McIntyre and "Dotty" Melker; godchildren David Thompson, Donald John Landry, Milton Rodriguez Jr., Gwen Turner and J. J. Rodriguez. She is survived by daughter Sandra Albright and her husband George; son Jason Pruett and his wife Jousette; sister Jean Guitreau; grandchildren, Danielle Pruett, Keith Sands and Curtis Sands; great-grandchildren Nick Barber, Kaleigh Barber, Brianna McKeel, Brooklynn Pruett and Braxon Pruett; godchildren Joyce Marie Dell, Georgette Smith, Margie Wait, T. J. Gegenheier; and many other family members and good friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend the celebration of life to be held Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018 at 2 p.m. at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church in Palmer. 323 N. Alaska St. Light refreshments and sharing of memories will take place downstairs after the service.
