‘Jul’ Yule’ concert to benefit Mat-Su Special Santa program

PALMER — Special Santa’s little helpers have organized a fundraiser to help share Christmas with hundreds of Mat-Su children.

For the second year, Hurricane Dave and Friends present their annual “Jul’ Yule” program of Christmas music at 7 p.m., July 12 at Trinity Lutheran Church in the Trinity Barn, Mile 2.2 Palmer-Wasilla Highway. Funds raised will benefit the Mat-Su Special Santa program.

Admission to both events is free, but cash donations are encouraged. Make checks payable to “Mat-Su Special Santa” and credit card donations will be accepted at the event.

In addition to Hurricane Dave, a dozen or so other entertainers are expected to perform. All will be volunteering their time and talents.
