Lifelong Palmer resident Julianna (Pazaruski) Coppock, 59, passed away March 15, 2014, in Hawaii after a long battle with cancer.
She was born Dec. 28, 1954, to James and Gerry Pazaruski.
Surviving are her daughters, Kara and Kaisa Stenberg; partner, Dee LeDet; siblings, Mike Pazaruski, Jana Jones, Jamie Pazaruski and Jody Remele; and many nieces and nephews.
Juli was preceded in death by her parents, James and Gerry Pazaruski; and previous husband, Vic Coppock.
Juli’s warmth, dry and mischievous sense of humor, confidence and caring made her beloved to friends, family, her community and those whom she took under her wing. Many were privileged to consider her a “second mom.” Juli’s four-legged “kids” were equally as important to her, and at least one beloved pet always resided in her home.
Palmer residents remember her as the owner of Brandywine Designs, where Juli handmade and screen-printed “Alaska Grown” attire for years. Juli’s creativity and artistic nature were also evident in her forays into music, arts and crafts, and her passion for gardening. A lover of the outdoors, Juli could often be found picking berries, hiking, fishing or swimming; she has passed her love of nature on to her daughters.
Many, including family and close friends, came to rely on Juli’s compassion and support. It was not uncommon to hear Juli tell a loved one how proud she was of them, and she was always first to offer a ready ear or a hug where needed. She will be remembered fondly for her tireless support of her loved ones, her infectious smile and her boundless energy and positivity.
