Katherine “Marie” Khalil-Hall of Wasilla, Alaska, formerly of Dyersburg, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late John I. Jones Jr., and Mary L. Jones of Dyersburg Tennessee. She was the Widow of Muarry C. Hall of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
She leaves behind her two daughters and son-in-law, Hope R. Khalil of Friendship, Tennessee; Dawn M. Khalil-Waller and Johnny A Waller of Wasilla, Alaska; Christopher J. Moody of Nashville, Tennessee; Monica E. Zuschlog of Lafayette, Louisiana; and Chuckie and Vicki Moody of Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Marie was retired. She worked at Brachs Candy in Chicago, Illinois, for 26 years, the University of Tennessee and Jones Jewelry in Dyersburg. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
It is truly an honor to say that Marie was my mother and I am one of the luckiest people in the world the other being my sister Hope to have had the most amazing woman I have ever known for my mother.
It is the celebration of her loving memories and the kindness that she shown to everyone she met and the Lord Jesus Christ that will be our refuge to withstand our great loss. I love you Mama.
