September 8, 1961 - December 28, 2024

Kathleen Louise Hohn.

Mom, Sissy, Sis, Aunt Sis, Kathy.

On December 28th, 2024, Sis passed away in her home in Vancouver, Washington. She was 63 years old. Sissy was born on September 8th, 1961, to Al & Jocelyn (Red) Hohn in Vermont; the third of five children. Sis came to Alaska with her family in the early 70's. They settled on Soapstone Road on the outskirts of Palmer. From a young age Sis lived life to the fullest, pedal to the metal, never a dull day. As an adult sis moved around the Pacific Northwest pretty frequently but no matter where Sis's adventures took her, she always seemed to bounce back to the Palmer, Sutton landscape where she homesteaded with her kids. She was one of a kind, would tell you like it is, and could figure out how to survive in almost any situation! She was full of life, full of love, always in the midst of some kind of shenanigans, and just the poster child for true badassery! She was quick to help a friend, loved her family, and most of all she was a fun kinda crazy! She never went anywhere without her marbles or her brain, and every day she found a dime for her time! You could always find Sis at a friend or family members house washing their dishes, helping with the kids, or rearranging their living room; she was a helper at heart. Sis aspired to one day become a drug and alcohol counselor and had recently worked hard to complete many of the courses. In her spare time she loved collecting all kinds of things, making up house or camp, being in the woods, and most of all, rock hounding; wherever Sis went she could find the coolest rocks! Anyone would tell you Sissy never met a stranger and when she passed away, she was doing something she loved to do, making food for someone else in need. If there is a rainbow bridge for people, she found it and crossed it!

Sis left behind her spouse William Honaker, her children Anna Honaker, Chrystal (Matthew) Hohn-DeRoest, John (Ethne Krohn) Pound and Cody (Hope) Pound, her grandchildren Emmaline, Gravel Daisi, Odelia, Ayda and Riley, her siblings Alan (Becky) Hohn Jr, William Hohn, Robert Hohn, Cousin Nikki Hartman-Sherwood, and many, many more cousins, nieces and nephews who Aunt Sis had a great impact on! Sis was preceded in death by the fathers of her children, Randy R. Hutchens Sr, John T. Pound Sr, her parents Alan Thomas Hohn Sr, Jocelyn (Rose) Hohn, and her sister Deborah Ann (Hohn) Badger.
