Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Wasilla resident Kathleen Mary Bernier Wooley, 49, died at her home Dec. 10, 2011.
A celebration of life in honor of Kathleen will be held privately with family and friends.
Kathleen was born Aug. 27, 1962, in Seattle, Wash., the daughter of Gregory and Joann (Huff) Bernier.
Kathleen moved to Wasilla in 1988 and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Kathleen enjoyed gardening, fishing, walking with her animals and feeding the ducks.
The family and friends wrote:
“Best friend a person could wish for.”
“She was the craziest, happiest, funniest person I knew.”
“She was a very loving and fun person to have around.”
“She loved nature walks, picking berries and collecting rocks.”
Surviving is her loving husband, Edward “Eddie” E. Wooley of Wasilla.
