April 29, 1949 - November 14, 2025 Kathleen “Kathy” Marie Timm (Wasilla, Alaska 1949–2025), 76, of Wasilla, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 14, 2025. Kathy is survived by her husband, Jack Timm; children Kari (Rico) Marcano, Brian (Heather) Bielenberg, Felicity (Scott) Young, Dennis (Tiffany) Timm, Kathryn Timm (Brian Huggins), and Richard Timm; and grandchildren Sebastian, Trystin, Janet, Vincent, Clarissa, Frederick, Joseph, Rose, and Bruce. She is also survived by her siblings MaryAnn, Rita, Laura, and Tom. Born on April 29, 1949, in Moorhead, Minnesota, Kathy grew up in a close, joyful home and carried that warmth throughout her life. She loved her time on the lake, road trips with her husband, snowmachining during Arctic Man, gardening, reading, and playing games with her grandchildren. A proud charter member of the Susitna Rotary Club, Kathy devoted much of her life to serving others. She supported numerous community projects, including local little lending libraries, and lived each day with generosity, optimism, and kindness. Kathy loved Alaska’s outdoors — especially summer four-wheeler rides to her cabin and winter adventures on the trails. Above all, her greatest joy was her family and friends, whom she loved deeply and unconditionally. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Big Lake Rec Center 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3rd. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Pam Hill Scholarship Fund.
