Kelly Ann Crawford, 51, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center. A celebration of Kelly's life and potluck will be held October 7, 2023 at 3PM VFW Post 9365 301 E. Lake Ave Wasilla, AK.
Kelly was born on solstice day June 21, 1972 in McMinnville, Oregon; she was referred to as their Solstice Baby. The family left Oregon, moving three times, eventually settling in Alaska in 1988. She attended school and graduated from Wasilla High School in 1990. Kelly went on to get a Medical Assistant certificate and was employed by a few medical clinics in the Mat-Su Valley.
Kelly and Jesse Crawford were married in July of 2013. They've made their home in Wasilla. Her family noted she was a very cheerful, fun loving and adventurous person. She had a great love for her family and friends. She said her two favorite places were Disney World and Kauai, HI.
Kelly is survived by her husband, Jesse; sons Jace Coulombe, Brody and Canyon Crawford, mother and step father, Marilyn (Joseph Rouswell) Wilson-Rouswell; step sisters, Twila and Ruby; sister-in-law, Jennifer Wright. Kelly left behind the Bean, Crawford and Coulombe families. She will also be missed by her best friend Brandi Doshen.
She is preceded in death by her father Ronald Wilson; sister, Ronna Wilson, grandparents Albert and Lois Wilson and Ed and Vivian Schellenberg and Uleta Marsh.
