Our beloved son, brother, and uncle passed peacefully on December 1, 2024. After high school, Kevin spent several years working on the North Slope, contributing to the success of Alaska's oil economy. In 1986 he joined the United States Antarctic Research program, wintering over at the South Pole, serving as the sole heavy equipment operator at Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station, and then returned to serve an additional stint at McMurdo Station in Antarctica. Subsequently, he spent a couple years on Amchitka, Alaska, where he supported a US Navy radar installation. Kevin is survived by father Allan, brother and sister in law, Kelly and Kathy, 2 nieces, 1 nephew, and 6 grand nieces/nephew. Rest in peace.
