Longtime Alaska resident Kevin J. Spencer, 35, passed away Feb. 10, 2015, at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center.
A private family viewing is March 5 at the Valley Funeral Home.
Celebration of life for family and friends is at 3 p.m., March 5 at Valley Funeral Home, 151 E Herning Ave., Wasilla.
Kevin was born to George and Geria Spencer on Dec 28, 1979, in Watsonville, California. Kevin came to Alaska in 1985 where he spent most of his life. Kevin occasionally travelled to the Lower 48. He considered Wasilla his home.
Surviving are his grandparents, Ronald and Evonda Kerr; mother, Geria Welborn; sister Jennifer Pigott, brothers Travis Spencer and Darrell Wellborn; three beautiful children Bailey, 14, Kevin, 11 and Lila Spencer; fiancée, Serena Honeycutt; his estranged father, George Spencer; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Kevin had friends in all walks of life. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. He was such a giving and caring person. He leaves behind a loving family.
