Our beloved son Kyle Zachary Moberly, 29, died unexpectedly on July 24, 2023 from an accidental drowning while fishing at Buddle Creek Recreation Area at High Rock Lake in Lexington, North Carolina.
He was born on October 15, 1993 in El Paso, Texas to James and Carrie Moberly. He grew up in Wasilla, Alaska and graduated Lathrop High School in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Kyle wanted to travel to where the weather is warmer, so he made his way to North Carolina. He had a very determined personality with the sweetest smile and infectious laughter. He loved people, listening to music, the outdoors, bike riding, and playing video games. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Kyle was cremated and returned home to Wasilla, Alaska. His final resting place will be decided at a later date.
